In the car lighting production process, minor defects often occur, such as dirt, air bubbles, scratches, scuffs, and frayed edges.
DETAILS
These imperfections, though small, become visible when the lights are illuminated by LED bulbs. Despite operators checking the lights, these minor defects can still cause problems, as they are often too small for the human eye to detect precisely.
OUR SOLUTION
The solution was to introduce a system based on high-resolution cameras that can detect defects as small as 0.1 mm. A dedicated application with proprietary vision algorithms was used.
